D.N.Angel
''D.N.Angel'' (stylized as ''D•N•ANGEL'') is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukiru Sugisaki. The manga premiered in Japan in the Kadokawa Shoten magazine ''Monthly Asuka'' in November 1997. After two extended hiatuses the series concluded in 2021. Kadokawa Shoten has collected the individual chapters and published them in 15 and 5 e-books. The manga series is licensed for English language release in North America and the United Kingdom by Tokyopop, which has released 13 volumes of the series as of 2011. The story follows an average middle schooler named Daisuke Niwa who awakens his phantom thief alter-ego, Dark Mousy, after being rejected by his crush. He then realizes that the transformation he undergoes is an inherited trait shared by all the males in his family, and that his destiny his to collect and purify the stolen pieces of art from which Dark seeks to desire. Takahito Eguchi
is a Japanese composer, orchestrator, and musician. He is best known for collaborating with Noriko Matsueda on ''Final Fantasy X-2'' and with Tomoya Ohtani on several '' Sonic the Hedgehog'' games. Eguchi became interested in music when he was six years old after hearing his neighbor playing the piano. He attended the Tokyo Conservatoire Shobi where he acquainted Matsueda. Eguchi worked at Square Enix from 1998 to 2003 and currently works at Sega. He created mostly electronic music in the early part of his career but now focuses on orchestral composition and arrangement, along with performing keyboards. Yukiru Sugisaki
is a Japanese manga artist. She has created numerous manga in several demographics, but is perhaps best known for creating the ''seinen'' series ''The Candidate for Goddess'' and the ''shōjo'' series ''D.N.Angel''. Career Yukiru Sugisaki started drawing in elementary school and began creating manga at around age 17 or 18. The Kadokawa Shoten ''shōjo'' magazine ''Monthly Asuka'' published her manga ''Namaiki no "N"'' in 1995. After her next work ''Sotsugyou M'', Sugisaki's popular '' D.N. Angel'' and ''The Candidate for Goddess'' series were simultaneously serialized in ''Monthly Asuka'' and the ''seinen'' magazine '' Comic Gum'' respectively.
