Cédric Charlier
Cédric Daniel André Charlier (born 27 November 1987) is a Belgian field hockey player who plays as a forward for Racing Club de Bruxelles and the Belgian national team. Club career Charlier started playing hockey at Uccle and played there until he was 19 years old, when he went to Racing Bruxelles. In July 2019, he made a transfer to Dragons. After he won the Belgian national title with Dragons in the 2020–21 season he returned to Racing. In his first season back at Racing he won the league title again. International career At the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament. At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the Belgian men's team that won the silver medal. Charlier also won silver with Belgium at the 2013 EuroHockey Championship on home ground in Boom and at the 2017 EuroHockey Championships in Amstelveen. Anderlecht
Anderlecht (, ) is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. 2021 Men's EuroHockey Championship
The 2021 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 18th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. The tournament was held alongside the women's tournament at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands and was originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021. However, following the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to July and August 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled and took place from 4 to 13 June 2021. The top five teams qualified for the 2023 FIH Hockey World Cup. The hosts Netherlands won the tournament for the sixth time, beating Germany in a 4–1 penalty shoot out after a 2–2 tie. Amstelveen
Amstelveen () is a List of municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality in the Provinces of the Netherlands, province of North Holland, Netherlands with a population of 92.353 as of 2022. It is a suburban part of the Amsterdam metropolitan area. The municipality of Amstelveen consists of the historical villages of Bovenkerk (Amstelveen), Bovenkerk and Nes aan de Amstel. 2017 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship
The 2017 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship was the 16th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the EHF. It was held from 19 to 27 August 2017 in the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands. The tournament also served as a qualifier for the 2018 Men's Hockey World Cup, with the winner qualifying. The hosts and defending champions the Netherlands won their fifth overall title by defeating Belgium 4–2 in the final, while England captured third place by beating Germany 4–2.
