Cédric Charlier
Cédric Daniel André Charlier (born 27 November 1987) is a Belgian professional field hockey player who plays as a forward for Racing Club de Bruxelles and the Belgian national team. He played 381 matches for the Belgium national team from 2008 until 2024. Club career Charlier started playing hockey at Uccle and played there until he was 19 years old, when he went to Racing Bruxelles. In July 2019, he made a transfer to Dragons. After he won the Belgian national title with Dragons in the 2020–21 season he returned to Racing. In his first season back at Racing he won the league title again. International career At the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament. At the 2016 Olympics, he was part of the Belgian men's team that won the silver medal. 2021 Men's EuroHockey Championship
The 2021 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 18th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. The tournament was held alongside the women's tournament at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands and was originally scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 August 2021. However, following the postponement of the 2020 Summer Olympics to July and August 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled and took place from 4 to 13 June 2021. The top five teams qualified for the 2023 FIH Hockey World Cup. The hosts Netherlands won the tournament for the sixth time, beating Germany in a 4–1 penalty shoot out after a 2–2 tie. The 2013 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 14th edition of the men's EuroHockey Nations Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organized by the European Hockey Federation. Men's Belgian Hockey League
The Men's Belgian Hockey League is a field hockey league organised by the Royal Belgian Hockey Association. The league was established in 1919 as the Division 1. Between the 2006–07 and the 2015–16 seasons it was known as the Honor Division. Sixteen different clubs have won the league with a 28 times record for Léopold. The current champion is Gantoise, having won the 2023–24 season by defeating Waterloo Ducks in the championship final.
