Champigny-sur-Marne (, literally ''Champigny on Marne'') is a commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris. Name Champigny-sur-Marne was originally called simply Champigny. The name Champigny ultimately comes from Medieval Latin ''Campaniacum'', meaning "estate of Campanius", a Gallo-Roman landowner. In 1897 the name of the commune officially became Champigny-sur-Marne (meaning "Champigny upon Marne"), in order to distinguish it from other communes of France also called Champigny. KIF Kolding is a handball club based in Kolding, Denmark who competes in the Danish Handball League. KIF Kolding has won the Danish Handball Championship a record 14 times. In the summer of 2011 the women team of the club became an independent club called Vejen EH. KIF Kolding København KIF Kolding København was formed in August 2012 after AG København went bankrupt. Some of the players from AG København joined the players from KIF and some of AGK's sponsors also joined KIF under the new name. CD Bidasoa Irun is a team of handball based in Irún, Spain. It plays in Liga ASOBAL. History The Basque club was founded in 1962. Five years after its foundation, CD Bidasoa managed to get promoted to the second division and after the 1969/1970 season it was promoted to the first division. Eight years was enough to reach the highest class. The team achieved its main successes with the support of the Elgorriaga chocolate company.
