Cyclone Static
Cyclone Static is an American punk rock band from New Jersey. History Cyclone Static is a melodic punk rock band from Jersey City, New Jersey. Vocalist and guitarist James Salerno played in a band with drummer Jonathan LeVine in 1990s called Drywater. In an interview with ''The Jersey Journal'', LeVine recalls "we never got picked up by a label ndwe never really did much. It really sounded a lot like Cyclone Static except today we're a lot more mature." The group disbanded, but rejoined in 2016, along with bassist Danny Patierno. Cyclone Static draws comparison to the music of Dinosaur Jr., Nirvana, and Guided by Voices, and cite inspiration from 70's punk, 80's hardcore and 90's alternative. Post-hardcore band Thursday's lead vocalist Geoff Rickly, describes them as "an anomaly in modern music not just to a time of punk rock on the radio but a whole lost New Jersey paradise: Asbury Park before the renaissance, radios cranking out surf guitars and sandy, beach-blown harmonies ...

Jonathan LeVine
Jonathan LeVine is an American art dealer, instrumental in the proliferation of lowbrow and street art on the East Coast of the United States. About LeVine grew up in Trenton, New Jersey. As a teenager, he encountered punk rock music and the punk scene, and began producing fanzines, promoting shows, and booking bands. He attended Montclair State University, and graduated with a degree in sculpture. Beginning in 1994, and while working at Montclair State University, LeVine became an independent curator, exhibiting punk flyers, comics, graffiti, and tattoo art at punk rock venues CBGB, Webster Hall, Max Fish and Maxwell's. Prominent artists in his early exhibitions included the contemporary artist Ron English, the visual artist and musician Daniel Johnston, and the street artist Shepard Fairey. Geoff Rickly
Geoffrey William Rickly (born March 8, 1979) is an American musician, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of rock band Thursday. Rickly is also a member of hardcore punk band United Nations, and the alternative rock group No Devotion with former members of Lostprophets, and is the founder of the record label Collect Records. Personal life Rickly was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Dumont, New Jersey, into a Catholic family, and attended Dumont High School, where he was a member of the band and played the tenor sax. He was raised Catholic, Rickly is a diagnosed epileptic, which has affected his ability to tour. In early 2013, Rickly was mugged in New York City, where his cell phone, iPad, wallet, credit card, rent money, and medication were stolen. In 2015, Rickly was poisoned and robbed in Hamburg, Germany, while touring with No Devotion to play at the Reeperbahn Festival. The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival is an American annual concert in Jersey City, that showcases artists primarily from New Jersey. About The festival was created by Sniffling Indie Kids co-founder Frank DeFranco and Mint 400 Records founder Neil Sabatino, in 2016. It has been hosted by many of the state's music magazines, websites and radio, including ''The Aquarian Weekly'', ''Jersey Beat'', Speak Into My Good Eye, and WFDU. The labels were both working on the album ''Creases'' when they were formerly introduced. ''From Scratch'' is the debut studio album from the American rock band Cyclone Static. Content The ten-track album was released with Mint 400 Records, on February 8, 2019. It was also released on compact disc and on vinyl. ''From Scratch'' was recorded and produced at the Forest of Chaos by Neil Sabatino, and mixed and mastered by Stuart Richardson at Rocky Water Studios. The psychedelic cover art was created by Orion Landau, of Relapse Records. The songwriting on ''From Scratch'' is compared to the punk rock band Hüsker Du, the alternative rock band the Pixies, and the grunge rock band Nirvana.
