Cyber Sunday (2006)
The 2006 Cyber Sunday was the third annual Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw brand division. It took place on November 5, 2006, at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio with 7,000 fans attending. The event was previously known as Taboo Tuesday in 2004 and 2005. For 2006, the event was moved to the more traditional Sunday night for PPVs and was renamed as Cyber Sunday. It was also the final Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday to be brand-exclusive as following WrestleMania 23 the following year, brand-exclusive PPVs were discontinued. This event had the unique feature of being an interactive PPV. Cutter (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a cutter is a facelock neckbreaker maneuver. This move sees an attacking wrestler first apply a facelock (reaching back and grabbing the head of an opponent, thus pulling the opponent's jaw above the wrestler's shoulder) before falling backwards (sometimes after running forwards first) to force the opponent face-first to the mat below. The cutter was innovated by Johnny Ace, who called it the ''Ace Crusher''. It was later popularized by Diamond Dallas Page, who called it the ''Diamond Cutter'', which is where the move got its name. The cutter also formed the base for the later development of another professional wrestling move known as the stunner. In wrestling, a pin is achieved by holding an opponent's shoulders to the mat for a three count. Pinfall is the term used in professional wrestling which is a way to win the match for that person or team. Background A pinfall is a victory condition in various forms of professional wrestling that is met by holding (pinning) an opponent's shoulders on the wrestling mat, usually until the referee counts to three. In professional wrestling, a pinfall is a common method of winning a match.
