''Cuca Legal'' is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It premiered on 27 January 1975 and ended on 13 June 1975, with a total of 119 episodes. It is created by Marcos Rey, directed by Gonzaga Blota, Oswaldo Loureiro Oswaldo Loureiro (23 July 1932 – 3 February 2018) was a Brazilian film and television actor. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Chica Xavier
Francisca Xavier Queiroz de Jesus, known professionally as Chica Xavier (January 22, 1932 – August 8, 2020), was a Brazilian actress and producer. Xavier worked in stage, film, and television. She was known primarily for her work in Rede Globo's telenovelas, but was active in stage for 60 years. Xavier was born in Salvador, Bahia. She was married to actor Clementino Kelé. Xavier started working at 14 years as bookbinder at the Official Press of the State of Bahia. She moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1953 and studied theater with Pascoal Carlos Magno. Her theater debut was on September 25, 1956 at the Teatro Municipal. Xavier acted in '' Orfeu da Conceição'' alongside Haroldo Costa, Léa Garcia, Cyro Monteiro, Dirce Paiva, Clementino Kelé, among others. Herval Rossano
Herval Abreu Pais (April 23, 1935 – May 8, 2007), better known by his stage name Herval Rossano, was a Brazilian TV actor and director from Campos dos Goytacazes. He directed both Escrava Isaura (1976 telenovela), the original 1976 version and A Escrava Isaura (2004 telenovela), the 2004 remake of ''Isaura the Slave''.
