Ctislav Doseděl
Ctislav Doseděl (born 10 August 1970), also known as Sláva Doseděl, is a former tennis player from the Czech Republic, who turned professional in 1989. Doseděl won three singles titles and one doubles titles during his career. The right-hander reached the quarter-finals of the 1999 US Open by defeating Jim Courier, Fernando Meligeni, Fredrik Jonsson and Jiří Novák before losing to Todd Martin. He also got to the semifinals of the 1994 Rome Masters and achieved his career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 26 in October 1994. His tennis career ended with the 2001 US Open. Doseděl is still involved in professional tennis post retirement and is, as of June 2012, coaching top 100 singles player Lukáš Rosol of the Czech Republic. Monte Carlo (; ; french: Monte-Carlo , or colloquially ''Monte-Carl'' ; lij, Munte Carlu ; ) is officially an administrative area of the Principality of Monaco, specifically the ward of Monte Carlo/Spélugues, where the Monte Carlo Casino is located. Alberto Berasategui
Alberto Berasategui Salazar (born 28 June 1973) is a former top-10 professional tennis player from Spain. He was a Grand Slam finalist at the 1994 French Open, and won a total of 14 ATP singles titles, achieving a career-high singles ranking of world no. 7 in November 1994. Tennis career Berasategui won a total of 14 top-level singles titles and one tour doubles title. All of them, as well as all losses in finals, were on clay. The ATP São Paulo (also referred to by its sponsored names Banespa Open and Sul America Open) is a defunct men's tennis tournament that was played on ATP Tour from 1991 through 1993. The event was held in São Paulo, Brazil and was played on hard in 1991 and 1992 at Hotel Transamerica, and clay in 1993 at Esporte Clube Pinheiros. Vincent Priessnitz
Vincenz Priessnitz, also written Prießnitz (sometimes in German ''Vinzenz'', in English ''Vincent'', in Czech ''Vincenc''; 4 October 1799 – 26 November 1851) was a peasant farmer in Gräfenberg, Austrian Silesia, who is generally considered the founder of modern hydrotherapy, which is used in alternative and orthodox medicine. Priessnitz stressed remedies such as vegetarian food, air, exercise, rest, water, and traditional medicine. He is thus also credited with laying the foundations of what became known as Nature Cure, although it has been noted that his main focus was on hydrotherapeutic techniques. The use of cold water as a curative is recorded in the works of Hippocrates and Galen, and techniques such as spas, bathing, and drinking were used by various physicians in Europe and the US through to the 18th century. Lukáš Rosol
Lukáš Rosol (; born 24 July 1985) is a Czech professional tennis player. He competes on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Tour, both in singles and doubles. Rosol was coached by former Czech player, 1999 US Open quarterfinalist Ctislav Doseděl. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 26, achieved on 22 September 2014. His first notable victory was against world No. 8, Jürgen Melzer, at the 2011 French Open, whom he defeated in five sets in the second round a year after Melzer had reached the semifinal. A year later, Rosol defeated world No. 2, Rafael Nadal, in the second round of Wimbledon to achieve one of the biggest wins in his career. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. Todd Martin (born July 8, 1970) is an American retired tennis player. He reached the men's singles final at the 1994 Australian Open and the 1999 US Open and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 4. Jiří Novák (; born 22 March 1975) is a Czech former professional tennis player. He was born in Zlín, Czechoslovakia but resides nowadays in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Career Novák turned professional in 1993 and won seven singles and 18 doubles titles during his career, winning $7,614,063 in prize money. For six years, he was the highest-ranked male Czech tennis player in the ATP rankings. On October 21, 2002, Novák reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 5. He retired in 2007. Novák was the first player to face Roger Federer at Wimbledon. In this first-round match at the 1999 tournament, Novák defeated Federer in five sets.
