Crystle Danae Stewart (born September 20, 1981) is an American actress, host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss USA 2008. Stewart later began an acting career, starring as a real estate agent Leslie Morris on the OWN/TBS comedy-drama television series '' For Better or Worse'' from 2011 to 2017 and in 2018 starred in the thriller film '' Acrimony''. Since 2020, Stewart has also been the national director of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. Life and career Early life Stewart was born in Houston, Texas, to Robert and Cynthia Franklin Stewart. She has a brother, Robert, and a sister, Breana. She married Belgian model Max Sebrechts in August 2014. The Miss Texas USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state Texas in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. This pageant is part of the Miss USA Organization, owned by Texas native Crystle Stewart, herself a Miss USA for 2008. The pageant is currently held in Houston. It has previously been hosted by El Paso, San Antonio, South Padre Island, Lubbock and Laredo. It was televised from 1971 to 2009. The current titleholder is R'Bonney Gabriel of Houston and was crowned on July 2, 2022 at Hilton Houston Post Oak in Houston. She represented Texas at Miss USA 2022 and won, earning her the right to represent the United States at Miss Universe 2022. Miss Teen USA 2010
Miss Teen USA 2010 was the 28th Miss Teen USA pageant, held at the Imperial Ballroom of the Atlantis Paradise Island, in The Bahamas on July 24, 2010. Stormi Henley, Miss Teen USA 2009, from Tennessee, crowned her successor, Maryland's Kamie Crawford, as Miss Teen USA 2010. The 50 states and the District of Columbia competed for the prestigious title and the pageant was webcast live on Ustream. The 2nd annual Miss Teen Fantasy Camp was held along the pageant. The preliminary competition, hosted by Ed Fields and Stormi Henley, took place on July 23, while the final show was held on July 24, 2010. Seth Goldman, raised in East Irvington, New York, is an American entertainment reporter and producer, who is the host of NBC's "Entertainment Buzz", and appears daily on television, online and on cell phones. Miss Teen USA 2009, the 27th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at the Imperial Ballroom, Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, The Bahamas on July 31, 2009. For the first time since 1986, the Miss Teen USA pageant was held earlier than the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Teen USA 2008, Stevi Perry of Arkansas, crowned Stormi Henley of Tennessee as her successor.
