Crusoe Secondary College
Crusoe College is a public secondary school in Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo, Australia. It is one of four colleges built in line with the Bendigo Education Plan. The School has had many name changes over its existence. The college was established as Kangaroo Flat Technical School, later becoming Kangaroo Flat Secondary College. It was proposed to be known as Bendigo South West Secondary College until deciding on an official name in late 2008. Buildings The school has a gymnasium, music centre, performing arts hall and the JB Osbourne Theatre. The theatre is used for local productions and award ceremonies by many local groups and schools. The current classroom buildings were built to replace the aging classroom buildings as part of the Bendigo Education Plan between 2009 and 2010. During the building works, the old buildings remained in place to allow normal classes to continue. Kangaroo Flat is a suburb of Bendigo in Victoria, Australia. It is located 5 kilometres (3 miles) South-West of the Bendigo CBD. Kangaroo Flat is neighbours with Golden Square, Big Hill, Lockwood, Maiden Gully and Mandurang. Kangaroo Flat derived its name from the large "mobs" (groups) of Eastern Grey Kangaroos encountered around gold miners' campsites and in the vast bush (forest) landscapes around Bendigo. Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC), is an Australian government-funded co-educational secondary school for Year 11 and Year 12 students located in the centre of Bendigo, Victoria. It is the largest provider of VCE, VET and VCAL in the state of Victoria. Bendigo South East College (BSE) is an Australian secondary school in Bendigo, Victoria, for year 7-10 students. History BSE occupies a building originally known as the Bendigo Girls' School. That school had been founded in 1916, originally located in the Quarry Hill suburb of Bendigo but moving to the Flora Hill suburb in 1959. In 1974, the school became co-educational, under the name Flora Hill High School, which was later renamed to Flora Hill Secondary College. The wedge-tailed eagle (''Aquila audax'') is the largest bird of prey in the continent of Australia. It is also found in southern New Guinea to the north and is distributed as far south as the state of Tasmania. Weeroona College Bendigo
Weeroona College Bendigo is an Australian co-educational secondary school, catering for students in years 7 to 10, located in White Hills, a suburb of Bendigo, Victoria. The school was formed in 1999 with the merger of White Hills Secondary College and Bendigo East Primary School. The school has an enrolment of over 700 students, supported by over 70 staff. Year 9 and 10 students have the opportunity to specialise in specific areas of interest. Year 10 students also have the opportunity to undertake some units of their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) at the school. Most of the students who choose to go on to achieve the VCE do so at the nearby Bendigo Senior Secondary College. Golden Square High School in the city of Bendigo in the state of Victoria, Australia, was established in temporary accommodation at Camp Hill Primary School in central Bendigo in 1960. With the completion of the new school's buildings, it moved to 50 MacDougall Road in the Bendigo suburb of Golden Square in 1962, providing for forms 1 to 6, now known as years 7 to 12. In 1978 it became a 7–10 school and was one of the original feeder schools to Bendigo Senior High School.
