Crush (rock Band)
Crush was an alternative rock band with East West Records from 1991 to 1993. Original members included singer-songwriter Michael Bramon, English guitarist-songwriter John Valentine Carruthers (formerly of Siouxsie and the Banshees), English drummer-songwriter Paul Ferguson (formerly of Killing Joke), and American bassist/backing vocalist/songwriter John Micco. Crush was previously known as Pleasurehead on Island Records from 1990-1991. Bramon left Crush shortly before their 1993 release ''Crush'', and was replaced by singer Frederick Schreck whose lead vocals would appear on the record. Bramon went on to work with guitarist-songwriter Tony "Bruno" Rey. Ferguson joined his former drum roadie, Alex Paterson of the Orb The Orb are an English electronic music group founded in 1988 by Alex Paterson and Jimmy Cauty. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock, or alt-rock, is a category of rock music that emerged from the independent music underground of the 1970s and became widely popular in the 1990s. East West Records
East West Records (stylized as east''west'') is a record label formed in 1955, distributed and owned by Warner Music Group, headquartered in London, England. History Upon its creation in 1955 by Atlantic Records, the label had one hit with the Kingsmen's "Week End" and went into hibernation until 1990, when Atlantic revamped the imprint as EastWest Records America. In America, Atlantic senior VP Sylvia Rhone was appointed Chair/CEO of the fledgling label. Island Records
Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. It was founded in 1959 by Chris Blackwell, Graeme Goodall, and Leslie Kong in Jamaica, and was eventually sold to PolyGram in 1989. Killing Joke
Killing Joke are an English rock music, rock band from Notting Hill, London, England, formed in 1979 by Jaz Coleman (vocals, keyboards), Paul Ferguson (drums), Geordie Walker (guitar) and Youth (musician), Youth (bass). Their first album, ''Killing Joke (1980 album), Killing Joke'', was released in 1980. Siouxsie And The Banshees
Siouxsie and the Banshees were a British rock band formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin.
