The Crunchyroll Anime Awards, also known simply as The Anime Awards, are awards given annually by the anime streaming service Crunchyroll to recognize the best anime of the previous year. Announced in December 2016, the awards were first presented in January 2017. Crunchyroll describes it as a "global event hatrecognizes the anime shows, characters, and artists that fans around the world love most." The winners of the 6th Crunchyroll Anime Awards were announced on February 9, 2022 without a ceremony. '' Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 1'' won the Anime of the Year award. The 7th ceremony will be held physically on March 6, 2023 in Tokyo, Japan. Process The awards have two rounds of voting.
