Their music, in the "Bahire" style (which they coined), draws from Bachata, Hip hop, Reggae, Latin and R&B influences, and is sung in Spanish.


History

Criollo formed in 2003, and included four members; Salvador "Sol" Valdez, Jose "Chiro" Mata, Alexis "El Gordo" Grullon and Gilbert "Giby" Capellan. Elvis Crespo Díaz (born July 30, 1971) is an Puerto Rican singer and songwriter of the Merengue genre. He has won multiple awards, including a Grammy and a Latin Grammy Award in merengue. IAM (band)
IAM (pronounced "I am") is a French hip hop group from Marseille. Formed in 1989, it comprises Akhenaton (AKH; Philippe Fragione), Shurik'n (Geoffroy Mussard), Khéops (Éric Mazel), Imhotep (Pascal Perez) and Kephren (François Mendy). José Alberto Justiniano (born December 22, 1959, in Villa Consuelo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), better known by his stage name José Alberto "El Canario", is a salsa singer from the Dominican Republic. Grupo Aguakate was a Dominican merengue group from 2003 to 2006. The singer, known as Gerpis "Shino" Correa, is sometimes also called by the group name, Aguakate. Shino is also a radio personality on La Mega radio station in New York, being heard by thousands each morning on the show "El Vacilon de la Mañana", and he is also known for his humorous lyrics that use double entendre. N'Klabe is a Puerto Rican salsa group formed in 2003. History N'Klabe was formed in 2003 by Félix Javier "Felo" Torres.
