Craig Parker (born 12 November 1970) is a New Zealand actor, known for his roles as Guy Warner in the New Zealand soap opera ''Shortland Street'' (1992–96, 2007–08, 2020), Haldir in the ''Lord of the Rings'' films ''The Fellowship of the Ring'' (2001) and ''The Two Towers'' (2002), Darken Rahl in the syndicated television series ''Legend of the Seeker'' (2008–10), Gaius Claudius Glaber in the starz series ''Spartacus'' (2010–12), and Stéphane Narcisse in the CW television series ''Reign'' (2014–17). ''Mercy Peak'' was a New Zealand television series that ran for three seasons on local network TV One, between 2001 and 2004. Robert Gerard Tapert (born May 14, 1955) is an American film and television producer, writer and director, best known for co-creating the television series '' Xena: Warrior Princess''.
