Crabcore
Crabcore is an internet meme that originated in 2007, mocking metalcore guitarists who squat low with their legs spread in a " crab-like" stance while performing. It has been mimicked by a variety of musical groups, leading many magazines and agencies, such as ''Rolling Stone'', ''Houston Press'', and NPR to classify it as a jocular musical style, or microgenre. __TOC__ Origin and legacy "Crabcore" originated in late 2007, and was first seen in a live performance by blessthefall. While performing "Higinia", former lead singer Craig Mabbitt is seen squatting, almost in a “crab-like” way during the breakdown. ''Someday Came Suddenly'' is the debut studio album by American metalcore band Attack Attack!. It was released on November 11, 2008, through Rise Records. The album's name derives from the third track, "Bro, Ashley's Here", and is the only album to include lead vocalist Austin Carlile. Many of the album's lyrics feature strong Christian themes. Background ''Someday Came Suddenly'' was both recorded and released in 2008. Attack Attack! was signed to Rise Records soon after the surface of the band's previous release, an EP entitled ''If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?'', which was also released during the same year. Roberto Agustín Miguel Santiago Samuel Trujillo Veracruz (; born October 23, 1964) is an American musician, best known as the bassist for Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Metallica since 2003. Auto-Tune (or autotune) is an audio processor introduced in 1996 by American company Antares Audio Technologies. Auto-Tune uses a proprietary device to measure and alter pitch in vocal and instrumental music recording and performances. Auto-Tune was originally intended to disguise or correct off-key inaccuracies, allowing vocal tracks to be perfectly tuned despite originally being slightly off-pitch. The 1998 Cher song " Believe" popularized the technique of using Auto-Tune to distort vocals.
