Coyhaique Province
Coyhaique Province ( es, Provincia de Coyhaique) is one of four provinces of the southern Chilean region of Aisen (XI). Its capital city is Coyhaique. It is the most populous of provinces in the Aysén Region. Administration As a province, Coyhaique is a second-level administrative division of Chile, which is further sub-divided into two communes (''comunas''), Coyhaique and Lago Verde, each of which is governed by a municipality headed by an alcalde. Alcalde (; ) is the traditional Spanish municipal magistrate, who had both judicial and administrative functions. A province is almost always an administrative division within a country or sovereign state, state. Time In Chile
Time in Chile is divided into three time zones. Most of Continental Chile uses the time offset UTC−04:00 in winter time and UTC−03:00 in summer time, while the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica region uses the time offset UTC-03:00 the whole year. Additionally, Easter Island uses the time offset UTC−06:00 in winter time and UTC−05:00 in summer time.
