Ajeet Cour
Ajeet Cour (born 1934) is an Indian writer who writes in Punjabi. She is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award and the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award by the Government of India. Biography Ajeet Cour was born in the family of Sardar Makhan Singh in 1934 in Lahore. She had her early education there. After the partition, her family came to Delhi, where she earned an M.A. (Economics). She has written novels and short stories in the Punjabi language on social-realist themes such as the experience of women in relationships and their position in society. She received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1985, the civilian honour of Padma Shri in 2006, and the Kuvempu Rashtriya Puraskar award in 2019. Her works include 19 short story anthologies, novellas and novels, as well as nine translations. She has also edited over 20 works. Glenys Cour
Glenys Irene Cour ( Carthew, born 1924) is a Welsh artist. Biography Cour was born in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1924. From 1945 until 1948, she studied at Cardiff College of Art under Ceri Richards and married the sculptor Ronald Cour in 1949. From 1963 to 2000, she taught painting and architectural glass at Swansea Institute of Higher Education, and the University of Wales, Swansea. Cour has been a member of The Welsh Group for a number of years, taking part in many of the group's exhibitions, including its 50th anniversary in 1998. She was elected Royal Cambrian Academician in 2009 and is also one of the founding artists of Swansea's Mission Gallery. Artwork Cour's artwork is primarily concerned with colour and light, using landscape, flowers, various culturally charged objects, like ancient Greek artefacts or Celtic stones, and mythology, especially the mythology of Wales and the multiplely layered tales of the Mabinogion.

Pierre Cour
Pierre Cour (5 April 1916 – 22 December 1995) was a French songwriter who wrote songs for several generations of artists. He wrote a number of successful songs in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Among those who recorded his songs are Dalida, Roger Whittaker, Petula Clark, Vicky Leandros, Paul Mauriat, Nana Mouskouri, Claudine Longet, German Montero, Jean-Claude Annoux and Enrico Macias. In the 1960s, he co-wrote (with André Popp) three songs for the Eurovision Song Contest – Tom Pillibi, which won the competition for France in 1960, Le chant de Mallory which came forth for France in 1964 and L'Amour Est Bleu (''Love is Blue'') which came forth for Luxembourg in 1967.
