County Of Dalhousie, Victoria
The County of Dalhousie is one of the 37 counties of Victoria which are part of the cadastral divisions of Australia, used for land titles. It is located to the north of Melbourne. It is bounded by the Coliban River to the west. The Goulburn River forms part of the boundary to the north-east. Puckapunyal is on its northern edge, and Kilmore and Woodend on its southern edge. The county was proclaimed in 1849. Victoria is a state in southeastern Australia. It is the second-smallest state with a land area of , the second most populated state (after New South Wales) with a population of over 6.5 million, and the most densely populated state in Australia (28 per km2). Broadford, Victoria
Broadford is a small town in central Victoria, Australia. At the 2021 census, Broadford had a population of 4,076. The town is the headquarters of the Shire of Mitchell local government area and is approximately north of the state capital, Melbourne. Broadford lies on the major transport routes between Melbourne and Sydney. The town is bypassed to the east by the Hume Freeway and the railway line linking the two cities passes through Broadford. Broadford is built on the banks of Sunday Creek, a tributary of the Goulburn River. Victoria Mitchell (born 25 April 1982) is an Australian long-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metres steeplechase. Victoria took part in the World Student Cross Country Championships in 2002 and finished in eleventh place. Victoria won two Horizon League Cross Country Championships in 2004 and 2005 as a Butler University student-athlete. Victoria finished fourth at the 2005 NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship as a Butler University senior in a time of 19:50.4. Metcalfe is a locality in central Victoria, Australia. At the , Metcalfe had a population of 185. The name 'Metcalfe' probably derives from Baron (Charles) Metcalfe, Governor-General of India and later of Canada, who died in 1846. Lauriston is a locality in Victoria, Australia. It is situated on the Coliban River, in a gully west of Kyneton. The Lauriston Reservoir, (which serves Kyneton), is south east of the town.
