Counter Terrorism And Transnational Crime
Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime - CTTC is a specialized branch of Bangladesh Police formed to tackle terrorism and transnational crime. Deputy Inspector General Md. Asaduzzaman bpm (bar) is the chief of the branch. History Bangladesh Police recommended the formation of a special unit, called Police Bureau of Counter-Terrorism, in August 2011 to the Home ministry. In September 2013 the Home Ministry sent it to the Ministry of Public Administration. A rise in terror attacks in 2015 increased demand for the unit. On 16 February 2016 Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police was formed with 600 personnel. In March 2017 it carried out a raid in Sitakunda, Chittagong leading to the death of two militants. Sitakunda Upazila
Sitakunda ( bn, সীতাকুণ্ড ''Shitakunḍo,'' ) is an upazila in the Chattogram District of Chattogram Division, Bangladesh. It includes one urban settlement, the Sitakunda Town, and 10 unions. Operation Twilight was a British record label, the UK branch of Belgian label Les Disques du Crépuscule. It was run by Patrick Moore, who now writes as Philip Hoare. The Para Commando Brigade ( bn, :bn:প্যারা কমান্ডো ব্রিগেড (বাংলাদেশ), প্যারা কমান্ডো ব্রিগেড) is a special forces, special operations force of the Bangladesh Army. The Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) ( bn, বিশেষ অস্ত্র ও কার্যপদ্ধতি, সোয়াট) is the police tactical unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police of the Bangladesh Police.
