''Knives Out'' is a 2019 American mystery film written, directed, and co-produced by Rian Johnson. It follows a master detective, Benoit Blanc, investigating the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. Arianne Phillips
Arianne Phillips (born April 26, 1963) is an American costume designer. Phillips was recognized for her work on the Broadway musical '' Hedwig and the Angry Inch'', starring Neil Patrick Harris, earning her a Tony award nomination for Best Costume Design. Michael Kaplan is an American costume designer for film. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kaplan has been working in the Hollywood film industry since the 1978 film '' Thank God It's Friday''.
