It has been running since the early 1960s. A Spacetime Odyssey
''Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey'' is a 2014 American science documentary television series. The show is a follow-up to the 1980 television series '' Cosmos: A Personal Voyage'', which was presented by Carl Sagan on the Public Broadcasting Service and is considered a milestone for scientific documentaries. This series was developed to bring back the foundation of science to network television at the height of other scientific-based television series and films. The show is presented by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who, as a young high school student, was inspired by Sagan. Among the executive producers are Seth MacFarlane, whose financial investment was instrumental in bringing the show to broadcast television, and Ann Druyan, a co-author and co-creator of the original television series and Sagan's wife. Abbey Road Studios (formerly EMI Recording Studios) is a recording studio at 3 Abbey Road, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London, England. It was established in November 1931 by the Gramophone Company, a predecessor of British music company EMI, which owned it until Universal Music Group (UMG) took control of part of it in 2013. It is ultimately owned by UMG subsidiary Virgin Records Limited (until 2013 by EMI Records Limited, nowadays known as Parlophone Records and owned by UMG's competitor Warner Music Group). The studio's most notable client was the Beatles, who used the studio – particularly its Studio Two room – as the venue for many of the innovative recording techniques that they adopted throughout the 1960s. Kent Isaacs, a Swedish producer, mixer, musician, songwriter and music-entrepreneur, is co-owner and operator of Cosmos Music, an independent Scandinavian music company. Isaacs has been known to work with Robyn, RZA, Slick Rick, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Clay Aiken, Eagle Eye Cherry, Infinite Mass, Arnthor and Stina Nordenstam (showcased on the hit 1996 soundtrack to ''Romeo + Juliet''). Cosmos Music, formerly Bonnier Amigo Music Group (BAMG), is an independent record company based in Stockholm, Sweden. Bonnier Amigo Music Group was formed in 2001 in music, 2001 when the record company and distributor Amigo Musik merged with the record company Bonnier Music.
