Cosmin Băcilă
Cosmin Nicolae Băcilă (born 10 September 1983) is a Romanian former professional footballer. On 18 September 2011, Băcilă suffered a broken left tibia and fibula following a tackle by Florin Gardoș in a match between Pandurii and Steaua București. He underwent surgery at ''Spitalul Universitar de Urgenţă Elias'' in Bucharest, on 20 September, and was released from the hospital three days later. Victoria, Brașov
Victoria (; german: Viktoriastadt; hu, Viktóriaváros) is a town in the western part of Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania, near the Făgăraș Mountains. It had a population of 7,067 at the 2011 census. In 1939, the Romanian state signed a contract with the German company Ferrostaal of Essen to build a factory (called "Ucea") on the site of what is now Victoria. The contract was canceled after Romania declared war on Germany in 1944, during World War II. The building of the town began in 1949 and it had the provisional names of "Colonia Ucea" and "Ucea Roșie" (Red Ucea), only to be changed in November 1954 to Victoria. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The Liga I was established in 1909 and commenced play for the 1909–10 campaign, being currently on the 29th place in UEFA's league coefficient ranking list. It is administered by the Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal, also known by the acronym LPF. 2012–13 Liga I
The 2012–13 Liga I was the ninety-fifth season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. The season began on 21 July 2012 and ended on 30 May 2013. CFR Cluj were the defending champions. Since Romania dropped from 14th to 22nd place in the UEFA association coefficient rankings at the end of the 2011–12 season, the league has lost its second UEFA Champions League berth. Further, all teams who will qualify for a European competition via league placement at the end of this season will have to enter these a round earlier as in the season before. The champions will enter the second qualifying round of the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League, while the second- and third-placed teams will begin at the second and first qualifying rounds, respectively, of the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League.
