Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital (; formerly Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital) is a hospital in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. Construction of the hospital was completed in September 2020. It opened on 7 February 2021 to alleviate hospital capacity pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Ontario, and opened for full service on 6 June 2021. It is operated by Mackenzie Health, which also operates Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Its service area is primarily Vaughan, King, and Richmond Hill in the southwestern and south-central portions of York Region. Its construction cost about billion. Vaughan was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 until 2015. The riding covered the fast-growing region of Vaughan north of Toronto, Ontario. The riding was created in 2003 from parts of Vaughan—King—Aurora riding. Gregory Samuel Sorbara (born September 4, 1946) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1985 to 1995, and again from 2001 to 2012 who represented ridings north of Toronto in the city of Vaughan.
