Corona (footballer)
Miguel Ángel García Pérez-Roldán (born 12 February 1981), known as Corona, is a Spanish football executive and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current director of football of Valencia CF. After starting out at Real Madrid, Corona spent most of his career at Almería, appearing in 335 official matches and scoring 22 goals. He also played professionally in Australia. Club career Real Madrid / Zaragoza Corona was born in Talavera de la Reina, Province of Toledo. A product of La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid, he played for their C and B-teams, the latter competing in the third division. Corona was signed by Real Zaragoza in January 2001, but only appeared in 33 top flight games for the Aragonese over the course of four seasons, with loans in the second level in between ( one full season with Polideportivo Ejido, six months with Albacete Balompié). Unión Deportiva Almería, S.A.D. () is a Spanish professional football club based in Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Founded on 26 July 1989 and known as ''Almería Club de Fútbol'' until 2001, when it was renamed ''Unión Deportiva Almería''. ''Ideal'' is a daily Spanish language newspaper edited and published in Granada. It forms part of the Corporación de Medios de Andalucía, which in turn belongs to the grupo Vocento. Founded in 1932 by Editorial Católica, since then it has had a long history. While publication is largely circumscribed to , ''Ideal ''is distributed in the provinces of Granada, Almería and Jaén, where it has local editions.
