Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School
The Cornwall Central School District is based in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, and provides public education to the children of that village, the Town of Cornwall and portions of the neighboring towns of New Windsor and Woodbury. It operates three elementary schools, a middle school, high school and a small main office building in downtown Cornwall on Hudson. It was created from the merger of the Cornwall on Hudson and Cornwall school districts in the mid-1950s. The buildings used by both districts are still in use today. The others have been built since then. It is governed by a seven-member elected school board and is financed by property taxes levied within the district. Fifth Grade

New York State Route 94
New York State Route 94 (NY 94) is a state highway entirely within Orange County in southern New York. The western terminus is at the New York–New Jersey state line, where it continues as New Jersey's Route 94 for another to Columbia, New Jersey. Its eastern terminus is located at U.S. Route 9W (US 9W) in New Windsor. From Warwick to Florida, NY 94 is concurrent with NY 17A. Cornwall Central High School
Cornwall Central High School is the high school serving the Cornwall Central School District in Orange County, New York. It draws students from portions of three towns: Cornwall, New Windsor, and Woodbury, as well as the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. While it is in the New Windsor ZIP Code, it is located off NY 94 just inside the Cornwall town line. History Two of Cornwall's elementary schools (Willow Avenue and Cornwall-on-Hudson) and the current middle school have served as the district's high school in the past. New York State Route 218
New York State Route 218 (NY 218) is a state highway located within Orange County, New York, in the United States. It loops off U.S. Route 9W to run closer to the Hudson River between Highland Falls and Cornwall-on-Hudson. North of Highland Falls, it is briefly concurrent with US 9W. NY 218 sees much traffic despite its short length. Not only does it bring most of the United States Military Academy's traffic to Thayer Gate, its main entrance, it attracts many who drive it just for the sake of its most renowned portion: the cliffside drive alongside Storm King Mountain.
