Core Knowledge
Core Knowledge (CK) refers to a current textbook series originally written by a collective of former top Year 12 South Australian students of the same name (2003–2008) for South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) students. The Core Knowledge group was the first student collective of its type and magnitude in Australia, recruiting top students from 13 schools across South Australia since 2003. Unlike other similar resources, the Core Knowledge subject guides incorporated a unique student perspective, earning praise from the Australian National Innovation Council in 2005 and students and reviewers from South Australia, Victoria, NSW, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. As of 2007, the resources available include Maths Studies, Biology, Physics and Chemistry subject guides. The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is awarded to students who have successfully completed their senior secondary schooling in the state of South Australia. The SACE Board of South Australia (formerly known as the Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia, or SSABSA) administrates the certificate. The SACE Board of South Australia is an independent statutory authority of the South Australian Government accredited under ISO 9001:2008. The SACE curriculum is also taught in Northern Territory secondary schools, where it is known as the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET). The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) certificate is a qualification based on the SACE curriculum which is administrated by the SACE Board of South Australia and taught in some schools in Malaysia and China. Glenunga International High School
Glenunga International High School (GIHS), formerly Glenunga High School (GHS), is a publicly-funded international school in Adelaide, South Australia. Norwood Morialta High School
Norwood International High School (NIHS) is a single-campus, co-educational, public high school located in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Founded as Norwood District High School in 1910 on Osmond Terrace, Norwood, the school relocated five years later to Kensington Park for nearly half a century, and changed its name to Norwood High School in 1947. This school moved to its present location in Magill between 1960 and 1962. Morialta High School came into being in 1975, and was merged with Norwood High in 1993, to become Norwood Morialta High School (NMHS), across two campuses.
