Léonie Juliana, Baroness Cooreman (16 June 1928 – 4 September 2020), also known by her stage name Annie Cordy, was a Belgian actress and singer. She appeared in more than 50 films from 1954 and staged many memorable appearances at Bruno Coquatrix' famous Paris Olympia. Her version of ''" La Ballade de Davy Crockett"'' was number 1 in the charts for five weeks in France in August 1956. Ross Cordy
Dr. Ross H. Cordy was the branch chief of archaeology in the State of Hawaii's Historic Preservation Division, having headed that office and program for 16 years. He is currently the Humanities Division chair at the University of Hawaii-West Oahu where he teaches Hawaiian and Pacific Islands studies courses and a few archeology courses. Cordy is a volunteer archeology instructor for the Waianae High School - Hawaiian Studies Program, where he teaches hands-on archeology, history and historic preservation issues. He has conducted research on Hawaiian archaeological and historical topics since 1968. Corydon Clark Milne (April 14, 1914 – October 15, 1978) was an American international motorcycle speedway rider who finished third in the 1937 Speedway World Championship final, behind his brother Jack and second placed Wilbur Lamoreaux. Corydon rose under the name Cordy Milne and all three riders came from Pasadena, California. Early life Milne was born in Buffalo, New York, but his family moved to Pasadena, California, while he was still young. While working as a messenger deliver boy for Western Union he saved his money and bought a motorcycle, converting it to a speedway bike. Ayce Cordy (born 6 August 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). The Bulldogs used their first-round selection, 14th overall, to secure Cordy after bid their first-round selection (pick 13) for him. Cordy's father, Brian, played 124 games for the Bulldogs in the 1980s. His brother, Zaine, currently plays for the Saints. Playing 27 games for the Western Bulldogs, Cordy was delisted at the end of the 2015 season. Neil Cordy (born 8 April 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer and now television presenter. Football career Cordy was recruited from Traralgon, Victoria. He made his AFL debut with the Footscray Football Club in 1979, and went on to play 139 games and kick 28 goals with the club until 1986, mainly playing as a winger. He moved to the Sydney Swans in 1987, playing more of a defensive role, going on to play 96 games and kick 3 goals until 1993, when he retired. Media career In 1996, Cordy became a sports reporter for Network Ten in Melbourne, and appeared in the documentary ''Year of the Dogs'' in this capacity. He has been a long-time contributor to the show '' Sports Tonight'' and the nightly sports reports on the news.
