''Coração Alado'' (stylized as ''❤ Alado'') is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It premiered on 11 August 1980 and ended on 14 March 1981, with a total of 185 episodes. It's the twenty fifth "novela das oito" to be aired on the timeslot. It is created and written by Janete Clair Janete Clair (born Jenete Stocco Emmer; April 25, 1925 – November 16, 1983) was a Brazilian television, radio play, and novel writer. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. This makes them shorter than most other television series, but still much longer than a miniseries. Eva Todor Nolding (born Eva Fodor; 9 November 1919 – 10 December 2017) was a Brazilian actress and dancer. Biography Eva Fodor was born in Budapest but emigrated with her family to Brazil in 1929. She later changed her surname to Todor. She was married twice – to Luís Iglesias from 1935 until his death in 1963, and to Paulo Nolding from 1964 until his death in 1989. She had no children.
