Cor Dam
Cornelis (Cor) Dam (April 26, 1935 – July 29, 2019) was a Dutch artist, who has been active as sculptor, painter, illustrator and ceramist. Life and work Born in Delft, Dam studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. After graduating he worked as a designer at the De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles from 1950 to 1965. And from 1956 until 1980 he worked at Ateliers Ceramic Structure 68 bv in The Hague. Since 1988 he lectured at the Technical University of Delft. at cordam.eu. Accessed 17.05.2015. Cor passed away on July 29, 2019. Sculptural works of Dam can be found in the public space of several Dutch cities. For the Anne Frankschool in the district Oosterwei in Gouda he designed a relief (see first image), showing in bright colors |

Royal Academy Of Art, The Hague
The Royal Academy of Art (KABK, nl, Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten) is an art and design academy in The Hague. Succeeding the ''Haagsche Teeken-Academie'' (part of the Confrerie Pictura), the academy was founded on 29 September 1682, making it the oldest in the Netherlands and one of the oldest in the world. The academy has been the training ground for a number of significant artists of the Hague School. It was part of the art movement of Dutch Impressionism and in the immediate vicinity of the II. Golden Age of Dutch painting. In the 19th century, however, training was still strongly oriented towards the classic curriculum. The Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles N.V. (trading publicly as Royal Delft) is a Dutch manufacturer of Delft Blue earthenware, headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands.
