Cope2
Fernando Carlo (also known as Cope2) is an artist from the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx, New York. Early life He has been a graffiti artist since 1985. Cope2's cousin "Chico 80" influenced Cope into writing. In 1982, he made his own crew called Kids Destroy, eventually changing to Kings Destroy after he dubbed himself "King of the 4 Line". Cope2's "throw-up" was given to him by Cap to use until he had enough skills to create his own. Career Some of Cope2's initial commercial artwork has been sold at Christie's for $1000 USD per painting. Early work includes cover art for a Boogie Down Productions album titled '' Sex and Violence''. In 2002, Cope2 provided artwork for Adam Bhala Lough's ''Bomb the System'', including a piece on the Brooklyn Bridge. Bomb The System
''Bomb the System'' is a drama film written and directed by Adam Bhala Lough, which was released to film festivals in 2002 and American theaters in 2005. It revolves around a group of graffiti artists living in New York City who decide to make a mark on the city, and stars Mark Webber, Gano Grills, Jaclyn DeSantis, Jade Yorker, Bönz Malone, Kumar Pallana and Joey SEMZ. ''Bomb the System'' was the first major fictional feature film about the subculture of graffiti art since ''Wild Style'' was released 1982. Several well-known graffiti artists participated in the making of the film including Lee Quiñones, Cope2, Chino BYI and Keo X-Men. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by El-P. ''Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure'' is a video game released in February 2006 for PlayStation 2, Windows, and Xbox. Marc Louis Ecko (né Milecofsky; August 29, 1972) is an American fashion designer, entrepreneur, and artist. He is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of fashion company Ecko Unlimited. He also founded ''Complex'' magazine in 2002. Early life and education Milecofsky was born in New Jersey on August 29, 1972. He was brought up with his twin Marci and an older sister, Shari, in suburban Lakewood, New Jersey, where his father was a pharmacist and his mother was a real estate broker.
