Copa Federación De España (Cantabria Tournament)
The Cantabria tournament is the previous round of the Copa RFEF in Cantabria. Organized by the Cantabrian Football Federation, the Cantabrian teams in Segunda División B and the best teams of the Tercera División (Group 3) not qualified to the Copa del Rey play this tournament, including farm teams. It is usually played between July and October, and the champion of the tournament qualifies to the National tournament of the Copa RFEF. Racing de Santander B is the team with most titles. Format Since 2014, the tournament is played by the eight best teams that did not qualify to Copa del Rey. It is played by a knockout system with single-game series, and the final is played at Campos de Sport de El Sardinero, in Santander. The winner receives a €3,000 prize and every team earns €500 per game played. Copa Federación De España
The Copa Real Federación Española de Fútbol, popularly known as the Copa Federación (Federation Cup) or Copa RFEF, is a Spanish football competition for teams from the Segunda División B, the Tercera División and sometimes from the Preferente Regional who have failed to qualify or have been eliminated in the first round of the Copa del Rey. The current Copa Federación, created in 1994, is not considered by the RFEF the same as the original one. A similar competition with regional qualification tournaments for amateur clubs (including the affiliated teams of the professional clubs, such as Real Madrid C and FC Barcelona C), the Campeonato de España de Aficionados, operated from 1930 until 1987,Spain - Amateur Champions (Campeonato de España Amateur) 1930-1987


Gimnástica De Torrelavega
Real Sociedad Gimnástica de Torrelavega is a Spanish football team based in Torrelavega, in the autonomous community of Cantabria. Founded on 28 September 1907 it is the oldest football club in the region, and currently plays in Tercera División RFEF – Group 3, holding home matches at ''Campos del Malecón'', with a capacity of 6,007 seats. History Gimnasticá de Torrelavega was founded in 1907. This makes the club one of the oldest football teams in Spain, as well as the oldest professional team from Cantabria. The team played mostly friendly matches before 1925, as there were not any organized football leagues in Spain prior to that. The team first played in the regional league of Cantabria for three seasons, before being accepted into Tercera Division in 1929.
