Controversy Loves Company
''Controversy Loves Company'' is the debut studio album by American rock band the Audition, released on September 20, 2005 through Victory Records. After some membership changes, the band released their debut EP in mid-2004, and by November 2004, they had signed to Victory Records. With Danny Stevens moving from guitarist to vocalist, the band spent three months writing material, until they recorded their debut album in April 2005. Sessions were held at Nada Studios in New Windsor, New York with producer John Naclerio. ''Controversy Loves Company'' is a pop-punk album that drew comparison to the work of Fall Out Boy, Hot Rod Circuit, and Taking Back Sunday. Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The Hurt Process was a British-based post-hardcore, hardcore/metalcore band from Tunbridge Wells, Royal Tunbridge Wells, England. Over It was a rock band based in Orange County, California. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, the band formed in 1998 to play pop punk. Most recently signed to Virgin Records, Over It is currently unsigned and inactive. History The band, originally a four-piece, started out on Negative Progression Records, who released their debut album ''The Ready Series'' on April 25, 2000. They promoted it with a US tour between June and August 2000. In December 2000 and January 2001, the band toured the south-eastern and midwestern US states with the Stryder. Jack's Mannequin was an American rock band formed in 2004, hailing from Orange County, California. The band originally began as a solo project for Andrew McMahon, the frontman of Something Corporate. The band was signed to Maverick Records and released '' Everything in Transit'' in August 2005, peaking at 37 on the ''Billboard'' 200. ''The Glass Passenger'' was released in 2008 on Sire Records, sold 49,000 copies in its first week, and peaked at number eight on the ''Billboard'' 200. Zebrahead is an American rap-punk band from La Habra, California. Formed in 1996, the band has released thirteen studio albums to date. Initially named "The Hush," the band later changed its name to "The Hush Sound" due to the discovery of a rapper with the same name.
