Constantin Oțet
Constantin 'Tică' Oțet (24 December 1940 – 19 February 1999) was a Romanian football coach. Career Oțet was born in 1940 in Poroina, a village in Șimian commune, Mehedinți County. In 1959, Oțet began playing for Metalul Turnu Severin but several injuries forced him to end his playing career early at the age of 23. He won as manager the Juniors Romanian Championship in seasons 1968–69 and 1975–76, and as the second coach won the club's first league title in season 1973–1974. In the years 1969–1977 also worked as a teacher at the faculty of physical education and sport at the University of Craiova. As the second coach of FC Argeș Pitești won the Romanian championship in the 1978–1979 season, and in the 1980–1981 season as the second coach of Universitatea Craiova. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. The 1982–83 Cupa României was the 45th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Universitatea Craiova against Politehnica Timișoara. Craiova were unable to play in the 1983–84 European Cup Winners' Cup though, as the closing date for entries was a week before the final. Syrian Premier League
The Syrian Premier League ( ar, الدوري السوري الممتاز) is a professional association football league in Syria and the top division in of the Syrian football league system. The league comprises 12 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Syrian League 1st Division. The Syrian Premier League was founded in 1966, unifying the local leagues that had existed previously. Seasons mostly run from August to May.
