Many countries have political parties that are deemed to represent conservative, center-right, right wing, or Tory views, and which may be referred to informally as conservative parties even if not explicitly named so. Conservatism
Conservatism is a cultural, social, and political philosophy that seeks to promote and to preserve traditional institutions, practices, and values. The central tenets of conservatism may vary in relation to the culture and civilization in which it appears. In Western culture, conservatives seek to preserve a range of institutions such as organized religion, parliamentary government, and property rights. Conservatives tend to favor institutions and practices that guarantee stability and evolved gradually. Adherents of conservatism often oppose modernism and seek a return to traditional values, though different groups of conservatives may choose different traditional values to preserve. Republican Proposal ( es, link=no, Propuesta Republicana) is a centre-right political party in Argentina. It is usually referred to by its abbreviation, PRO. Bangladesh Nationalist Party
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দল, Bangladesh Jātīyotābādī Dol; BNP) is a centre-right to right-wing nationalist, political party in Bangladesh and one of the major political parties of Bangladesh. It was founded on 1 September 1978 by former Bangladeshi President Ziaur Rahman after the Presidential election of 1978, with a view of uniting the people with a nationalist ideology. Since then, the BNP won the second, fifth, sixth and eighth national elections and two Presidential elections in 1978 and 1981. Free National Movement
The Free National Movement ( abbreviated FNM) is a political party in The Bahamas formed in the early 1970s, led by Sir Cecil Wallace Whitfield. The current leader of the party is Michael Pintard and his deputy Peter Turnquest. It dominated the general election held on 10 May 2017, winning 35 of the 39 seats in the Legislature, but was defeated in 2021, losing 28 seats. The Reform Conservatives (''Die Reformkonservativen'', REKOS) was a conservative political party in Austria. The party was launched on 23 December 2013 by Ewald Stadler, a former member of the National Council and eurosceptic MEP for the Freedom Party (FPÖ) and the Alliance for the Future (BZÖ). Freedom Party In Carinthia
The Freedom Party in Carinthia (german: Die Freiheitlichen in Kärnten, FPK, alternative English translations: Carinthian Freedom Party, Freedom Party of Carinthia, The Freedomites in Carinthia, or Carinthia Freedom Party) was a political party in Austria, operating in the federal state of Carinthia. The FPK was founded as branch of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) by Jörg Haider in 1986. The Austrian People's Party (german: Österreichische Volkspartei , ÖVP ) is a Christian-democratic and liberal-conservative political party in Austria. Artsakh Conservative Party
The Artsakh Conservative Party () is an Armenian political party in Artsakh. History The Artsakh Conservative Party was established on 26 February 2019. Its founder and current party leader is David Babayan. On 5 February 2020, it was announced that Babayan would run for the presidency of Artsakh and that he would lead the party in the 2020 Artsakhian general election. Ideology The party maintains a centre-right political position and advocates for Artsakh’s sovereignty, maintaining a high level of security and strengthening democracy, social justice and environmental protection.
