Conor Ryan (hurler)
Conor Ryan is an Irish people, Irish former hurling, hurler who played at midfield for the Clare GAA, Clare senior team. At club level Ryan played with Cratloe GAA, Cratloe. He is the older brother of Clare hurler Diarmuid Ryan. Career Ryan made his Senior Championship debut on 2 June 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 2013 against Waterford GAA, Waterford, starting in midfield in a 2-20 to 1-15 victory. Ryan was named as the ''Man of the Match'' in the drawn 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final against Cork GAA, Cork. Ryan missed the 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 2017 season on medical advice but was part of the analytics support team for the year. Ryan was forced to retire from hurling in 2018 due to health reasons. Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. Cratloe Hurlers
Cratloe () is a village in County Clare, Ireland, situated between Limerick and Shannon in the mid-west of Ireland. It is possible that the name derives from ''Croit-shliabh'' meaning "hump-backed hill", referring to Woodcock Hill. The present-day parish of Cratloe consists of the former parish of Kilfintinan and a portion of the contemporary parish of Killeely. This was agreed upon by priests in the 18th century, who claimed there were not enough members of the clergy to operate fully in both parishes. Shane O'Donnell
Shane O'Donnell (born 15 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who played as a forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, O'Donnell first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2013 Waterford Crystal Cup. O'Donnell has since gone on to play a key part for Clare, and has won one All-Ireland medal and one Waterford Crystal Cup medal. At club level O'Donnell plays with Éire Óg, Ennis. He missed the 2019 National Hurling League as he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Harvard University in the US. Walter Walsh (hurler)
Walter Walsh (born 25 May 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Junior Hurling Championship club Tullogher–Rosbercon and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a centre-forward. Playing career Good Counsel College Walsh first came to prominence as a hurler with Good Counsel College in New Ross. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team. On 14 March 2009, Walsh was at midfield when Good Counsel College faced Castlecomer Community School in the Leinster final. The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Clare Senior Football Championship
The Clare Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition organised by Clare GAA between the top twelve gaelic football clubs in County Clare, Ireland. The winners represent the county in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The Clare SFC final is generally held in the month of October and is played at Cusack Park in Ennis. Senior Hurling Championship, more commonly known as the'' Clare Senior Hurling Championship ''or'' Clare SHC, ''is an annual hurling competition organised by the Clare County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It is contested by the top-ranking senior hurling clubs in Clare, Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition in Clare hurling.
