Conor Powell
Conor Powell (born 26 August 1987 in Dublin) is an Irish former footballer who played as a left back. Club career Powell began his youth career at his hometown club Portmarnock A.F.C. He outgrew the club, however, and made the switch to Dublin city club Belvedere where he was part of a very talented team, enjoying a lot of success before being brought to Bohemians in 2005. He progressed quickly, making his debut in the League of Ireland Cup at home to St. Patrick's Athletic in June 2005 with his league debut coming less than 2 months later against Shelbourne. He was voted Bohemians under-21 Player of the Year in 2005 and Bohemians Young Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007. He was also the FAI Schools Player of the Year in 2006. The Football Association of Ireland Senior Challenge Cup (FAI Cup), known as the Extra.ie FAI Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out association football competition contested annually by teams from the Republic of Ireland (as well as Derry City from Northern Ireland). Bohemians were champions while St Patrick's Athletic finished as runners-up. Club information Overview The regular season began on 7 March and concluded on 14 November. Each team played the other teams three times, totaling 33 games. Bohemians finished the season as champions, winning by a margin of nineteen points. The League of Ireland ( ga, Sraith na hÉireann), together with the Football Association of Ireland, is one of the two main governing bodies responsible for organising association football in the Republic of Ireland. The term was originally used to refer to a single division league. Colin Joseph Hawkins (born 17 August 1977) is an Irish retired footballer and current manager of Shamrock Rovers B. Hawkins was a central defender with Shamrock Rovers along with a number of other clubs in the League of Ireland and cross-channel in England. He has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth and U21 levels. Playing career Coventry City Hawkins made his first League of Ireland appearance as a schoolboy for Salthill Devon on 14 August 1994. Graham Gartland
Graham Gartland (born 13 July 1983) is an Irish football coach and former player. He played for Drogheda United, Shamrock Rovers, Home Farm, Barnsley, Dundee United, St Patrick's Athletic, Longford Town and St Johnstone. Gartland also played for the Republic of Ireland B national football team. Playing career Gartland scored a goal for Drogheda in a UEFA Cup tie against HJK Helsinki in August 2006. In the next round against IK Start Gartland became the first player in UEFA Cup history to miss two penalties in a shoot out as Drogheda were eliminated. Killian Brennan (born 31 January 1984) is an Irish retired footballer who played as a midfielder in the League of Ireland Premier Division. Career Early career Noted for his wing play and ability to fire in accurate crosses, Brennan was signed by Peterborough United in his teenage years. In 2004, he was capped several times for the Republic of Ireland under-19s, before moving back to play in the League of Ireland. He was signed by John Gill for Dublin City, however, less than a year later, newly appointed boss Roddy Collins' 'purge' of the club meant that Brennan was deemed surplus to requirements. Tallaght Stadium
Tallaght Stadium ( ga, Staid Thamhlachta) is an association football stadium in the Republic of Ireland based in Tallaght, South Dublin. The club Shamrock Rovers originally announced details of the stadium in July, 1996. The stadium is now owned and operated by South Dublin County Council with Shamrock Rovers as the anchor tenants. David Mooney (born 30 October 1984) is an Irish footballer who has played for several clubs in Ireland and the United Kingdom. As of 2019, he was playing as a striker for Leinster Senior League side Lucan United. Club career Shamrock Rovers Mooney joined Shamrock Rovers, his first senior club, in 2000, while he was a pupil in Coláiste Éanna, in Dublin. He scored in every round when Rovers' won the U17 All Ireland title against Kingdom Boys in 2002. Mooney made his first team debut coming on as a sub against Longford Town on 6 April 2004.
