Conor Kearns (born 6 May 1998) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for League of Ireland Premier Division club Shelbourne. He previously spent 5 years with UCD, as well as a season with St Patrick's Athletic and 2 seasons with Galway United. Club career Early career Raised in the Dublin suburb of Templeogue, Kearns started playing football with his local side Templeogue United. He signed for UCD in 2015, playing for their under 19 side for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 seasons. In April 2017, Kearns scored a Bicycle kick in the 92nd minute away to Cork City under 19's. The goal went viral and later featured on popular TV show Soccer AM. He was part of the squad that won the League of Ireland U19 Division in September 2016. 2018 League Of Ireland First Division
The 2018 League of Ireland First Division season was the 34th season of the League of Ireland First Division. The league began on 23 February 2018 and concluded on 22 September 2018. Contrary to the previous editions, this tournament had 10 teams, which was the largest number since the 2011 season season, and saw the return of the promotion/relegation playoffs. John Caulfield (Irish Footballer)
John Caulfield (born 11 October 1964) is a retired League of Ireland footballer, he has been the manager of Galway United F.C. since August 2020. Caulfield spent the majority of his playing career at Cork City F.C. and was a prominent member of the team that won the 1992–93 League of Ireland Premier Division. He was also the League of Ireland Premier Division Top Scorer in both 1991–92 and 1994–95. As a manager Caulfield has won the 2016 FAI Cup, 2017 FAI Cup and 2017 League of Ireland Premier Division with Cork City F.C. Caulfield has also played Gaelic football and represented both Roscommon and Cork at inter-county level, winning an All-Ireland title with the latter. Brendan Clarke (born 17 September 1985 in Dublin) is an Irish football player who plays for Galway United in the League of Ireland First Division. Club career St Patrick's Athletic Clarke is a goalkeeper and played schoolboy football for local side Cherry Orchard. He is one of a handful of local players to have played for St. Pats. Clarke had an extended spell in the first team at the end of the 2004 season as regular 'keeper Chris Adamson's form dropped. In 2007, Clarke was sent on a season-long loan to Waterford United but was recalled before the season got underway. At the end of the 2007 season, Clarke played in the 4 of the last 5 league games. The Football Association of Ireland Senior Challenge Cup (FAI Cup), known as the Extra.ie FAI Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out association football competition contested annually by teams from the Republic of Ireland (as well as Derry City from Northern Ireland). Jason McClelland (born 5 March 1997) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for League of Ireland Premier Division club, St Patrick's Athletic, having previously played for UCD for 5 seasons. Club career Early career McClelland started off playing football with Shamrock Rovers at an early age. Stephen O'Donnell (born 15 January 1986) is an Irish professional football coach and former player who is head coach at League of Ireland Premier Division club Dundalk. During his playing career the clubs he played at were Arsenal, Falkirk, Bohemians, Cork City, Galway United, Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk. Club career Arsenal O'Donnell played youth football for Newcastle in County Galway before joining Arsenal as a trainee in the summer of 2002 after completing his Junior Certificate exams. Daniel Mandroiu (born 20 October 1998) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for EFL League One club Lincoln City.
