Conor Grant (footballer, Born 1995)
Conor James Grant (born 18 April 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Port Vale. A former England under-18 international, Grant turned professional at Everton in July 2013. He spent five years on the club's books without making a first-team appearance, instead spending time on loan at Motherwell, Doncaster Rovers, Ipswich Town and Crewe Alexandra. He helped Doncaster to win promotion out of League Two in the 2016–17 campaign. He joined Plymouth Argyle in June 2018, where he would remain for five seasons, helping the club to win promotion out of League Two in 2019–20 and out of League One in 2022–23. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them. Fir Park Stadium is a football stadium situated in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The stadium plays host to the home matches of Scottish Premiership club Motherwell and was the temporary home of Gretna for the 2007–08 SPL season. Ian Robert Baraclough (; born 4 December 1970) is an English football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of the Northern Ireland national team. He previously managed the Under-21 team. As a player, he was a defender from 1988 to 2008 for Leicester City, Grimsby Town, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Notts County, Queens Park Rangers and Scunthorpe United. The Scottish Premiership, known as the cinch Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. FC Krasnodar is a Russian professional football club based in Krasnodar that plays in the Russian Premier League. The club was founded in 2008. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
