Connector Motorways
Connector Motorways was an Australian toll road operator which operated the Lane Cove Tunnel and the Falcon Street Gateway (now Military Road E-ramp) in northern Sydney. Both projects opened to the public in March 2007. Connector was owned by CK Infrastructure Holdings (19.6%), AMP (15%) and Leighton (11%) Connector Motorways started off as the Lane Cove Tunnel Company and was engaged by Roads & Traffic Authority to design, construct, maintain and operate the tunnel for 33 years on 1 October 2003. Lane Cove Tunnel
The Lane Cove Tunnel is an A$1.1 billion, 3.6 km twin-tunnel tollway in Sydney, Australia, which connects the M2 Motorway at North Ryde with the Gore Hill Freeway at Artarmon. It is owned by toll road operator Transurban and forms part of the M2 and the 110 km Sydney Orbital Network. The A8 is one of Sydney, Australia's metropolitan arterial routes, formerly designated Metroad 10. The A8 route runs for 23 kilometres from North Sydney to Mona Vale. The route includes parts of several different roads. The A8 is the main transport link through the Northern Beaches district of Sydney. It forms one of only three road connections between the Northern Beaches area and the rest of Sydney (the others being the A3 and route A38 (Warringah Road)).
