Jillian Marie Gilchrest (born March 21, 1982) is an American politician who is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 18th district in Hartford County. Early life Gilchrest earned a BA in Women's Studies from the University of Connecticut in 2004. She would later earn a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. West Hartford, Connecticut
West Hartford is a town in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States, west of downtown Hartford. The population was 64,083 at the 2020 census. The town's popular downtown area is colloquially known as "West Hartford Center," or simply "The Center," and is centered on Farmington Avenue and South/North Main Street. West Hartford Center has been the community's main hub since the late 17th century. Incorporated as a town in 1854, West Hartford was previously a parish of Hartford, founded in 1672. Andrew Mark Fleischmann was a Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, who represented the 18th Assembly District, which consists of portions of West Hartford, Connecticut, United States. A graduate of Hall High School in West Hartford, Fleischmann attended Princeton University and graduated cum laude with an A.B. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He completed a 158-page long senior thesis titled "The Community Action Program and Black Political Power." He received a master's degree in history from Stanford University, with a concentration on modern U.S. public policy. Representative Miles S. Rapoport launched a successful bid for Connecticut Secretary of State in 1994.
