Conlan Carter
Chester Conlan Carter (born October 3, 1934) is an American film, stage and television actor. He is perhaps best known for playing the medic "Doc" in the American Drama (film and television), drama television series ''Combat!'', for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Awards, Primetime Emmy Award in the category Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Life and career Carter was born in Center Ridge, Arkansas, and grew up on a farm. He attended Matthews High School in Missouri, where he was a state champtionpole vaulter. After graduating from Matthews High School in 1952, he attended Southeast Missouri State University, on a two-year athletic scholarship. Janet De Gore (November 19, 1930 – June 11, 2022) was an American television and theatre actress. Born in Larchmont, New York, De Gore began her career in 1950 starring as Janice in the Broadway play ''The Member of the Wedding''. ''The Daily News'' (TDN) is the primary newspaper of Longview and Kelso, Washington, and Cowlitz County, Washington. Lee Enterprises acquired the newspaper in 2002, with its purchase of Howard Publications. Howard, in turn, had purchased the paper in 1999 from Ted Natt and John Natt, grandsons of John M. McClelland Sr., ending 76 years of McClelland-Natt family ownership. According to "R.A. Johnny Ringo (TV Series)
John Peters Ringo (May 3, 1850 – July 13, 1882), known as Johnny Ringo, was an American Old West outlaw loosely associated with the Cochise County Cowboys in frontier boomtown Tombstone, Arizona Territory. He took part in the Mason County War in Texas during which he committed his first murder. He was arrested and charged with murder. He was affiliated with Cochise County Sheriff Johnny Behan, Ike Clanton, and Frank Stilwell during 1881–1882. He got into a confrontation in Tombstone with Doc Holliday and was suspected by Wyatt Earp of having taken part in the attempted murder of Virgil Earp and the ambush and death of Morgan Earp. Ringo was found dead with a bullet wound to his temple which was ruled a suicide. ''Pal Joey'' is a 1940 musical with a book by John O'Hara and music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. The musical is based on a character and situations O'Hara created in a series of short stories published in ''The New Yorker'', which he later published in novel form. The title character, Joey Evans, is a manipulative small-time nightclub performer whose ambitions lead him into an affair with the wealthy, middle-aged and married Vera Simpson. It includes two songs that have become standards: "I Could Write a Book" and "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered". The original 1940 Broadway production was directed by George Abbott and starred Vivienne Segal and Gene Kelly.
