A confession is a statement – made by a person or by a group of persons – acknowledging some personal fact that the person (or the group) would ostensibly prefer to keep hidden. ''Confessions'' or ''The Annabel Trilogy Part III: Confessions'' (on Re-release edition) is the fifth studio album by American post-hardcore band, Alesana. It is their third concept album and the final chapter of the Annabel trilogy, released on April 21, 2015. The first one, '' The Emptiness'' (Fearless Records) was released in 2010, and the second one, ''A Place Where the Sun Is Silent'' (Epitaph Records) was released in 2011. Background This is the third and final release of the three studio albums and accompanying short stories that make up Alesana's iconic Annabel Trilogy, a three part story centered around the fictional character Annabel and how she interacts with various storylines and motifs found in famous works of literature. Lyrically, the song critiques the pursuit of wealth and expresses the emptiness and lack of peace that comes with materialism. Escape The Day
Escape the Day is a Swedish electronicore band from Gothenburg, formed in 2007 as Mindscape, by Sebastian Westman and Patrick Möhlenbrock. History Escape the Day began their journey in 2007, as Mindscape. They released a self-titled EP in 2008, which received immediate recognition over the internet and included songs like ''Derailed'' and ''As We Were Once''. After the departure of the screamer Sebastian Jarfelt, the band looked for a new screamer, but never found anyone suitable for their music. In the process of looking for a screamer, they recruited a vocalist, Maria Petersèn. They changed the name of the band to Escape the Day. was a Japanese all-female heavy metal band from Tokyo, formed in 2009 by four former members of Destrose. It consisted of vocalist Eye, drummer Mari, guitarist Saki and bassist Rio since 2012. After releasing three EPs as an independent band, they signed to Nippon Columbia for their first album, ''Countdown to Evolution'' (2014). Mary's Blood then switched to Victor Entertainment for the release of ''Bloody Palace'' (2015) and ''Fate'' (2016). Dweezil Zappa (born Ian Donald Calvin Euclid Zappa; September 5, 1969) is an American rock guitarist and occasional actor. He is the son of musical composer and performer Frank Zappa. Áurea Isabel Ramos de Sousa (born 7 September 1987), known professionally as Aurea, is a Portuguese soul singer originally from Santiago do Cacém, Alentejo, who grew up in Silves, Algarve.
