Computer Love is the third studio album by Australian group, TZU. The album was released on 28 June 2008 and debuted at no. 23 on the ARIA Charts. At the J Awards of 2008, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. The lead single, "Computer Love" received airplay on national youth radio station Triple J. The video clip was nominated for the "Music Video" J Award for 2008. Australian Hip Hop
Australian hip hop traces its origins to the early 1980s and is largely inspired by hip hop and other urban musical genres from the United States. As the form matured, Australian hip hop has become a commercially viable style of music which is no longer restricted to the creative underground, with artists such as The Kid LAROI, Manu Crooks, ONEFOUR, Iggy Azalea, Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso and Youngn Lipz, having achieved notable fame. Liberation Music is an Australian record company and label, started in 1999 by Michael Gudinski and Warren Costello, based in Melbourne. Its stated aim is to find, nurture and then to develop new talent for a world market while remaining independent in the process. Smiling at Strangers is the second studio album by Australian Hip Hop album by TZU, released in September 2005. The album was produced by Magoo (Australian producer), Magoo (Regurgitator and Butterfingers (Australian band), Butterfingers) and released under the Liberation Music record label. The album peaked at number 71 on the ARIA charts. The album was later re-released as a limited edition double album entitled, ''Snarling at Strangers''. Triple J
Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The station also places a greater emphasis on broadcasting music of Australia, Australian content compared to commercial stations. Triple J is a division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The J Award of 2008 is the fourth annual J Awards, established by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's youth-focused radio station Triple J. The announcement comes at the culmination of Ausmusic Month (November). In 2008, a new award for ''Australian Music Video of the Year'' was added to the existing awards; ''Australian Album of the Year'' and ''Unearthed Artist of the Year''. TZU Albums
TZU (pronounced "Tee Zed Yoo") were an Australian hip hop group, formed in 1999 by Joelistics, Yeroc, Seed MC and Paso Bionic. They used instruments in live performances, giving their shows a rock-infused feeling. Duzy What joined in 2005.
