''Complete'' is a box set compilation by English rock band the Smiths, released by Rhino Records in the UK on 26 September 2011. Standard versions contain the band's four studio albums (''The Smiths'', ''Meat Is Murder'', ''The Queen Is Dead'' and ''Strangeways, Here We Come''), a live album (''Rank'') and three compilations (''Hatful of Hollow'', ''The World Won't Listen'' and ''Louder Than Bombs''), on 8 CDs or 8 LPs. A deluxe version contains the albums on both CD and LP formats, as well as 25 7-inch vinyl singles and a DVD. Content The box's liner notes state that "each album has been taken back to original tape sources and remastered by master-engineer Frank Arkwright, assisted by Johnny Marr at the Metropolis Studios in London". ''Strangeways, Here We Come'' is the fourth and final studio album by English rock band the Smiths. It was released on 28 September 1987 by Rough Trade Records, several months after the group had disbanded. All of the songs were composed by Johnny Marr, with lyrics written and sung by Morrissey. ''Rolling Stone'' said the record "stands as one of their best and most varied". ''Slant Magazine'' listed the album at No. 69 on its list of "Best Albums of the 1980s", writing that "Whether or not ''Strangeways, Here We Come'' ended the Smiths' brief career with their best album has been the subject of considerable debate for nearly a quarter century, but it definitively stands as the band's most lush, richest work." "This Charming Man" is a song by the English rock band the Smiths, written by guitarist Johnny Marr and singer Morrissey. Steven Patrick Morrissey (; born 22 May 1959), known professionally as Morrissey, is an English singer and songwriter. He came to prominence as the frontman and lyricist of rock band the Smiths, who were active from 1982 to 1987. Since then, he has pursued a successful solo career. Jürgen Vollmer (born 11 July 1939) is a German photographer known for his association with the Beatles during the band's time in Hamburg in the early 1960s. Vollmer, along with Astrid Kirchherr and Klaus Voormann (the " Exis"), befriended the band and were responsible for some of their most iconic images in their leather-clad days prior to Brian Epstein. Johnny Marr (born John Martin Maher, 31 October 1963) is an English musician, songwriter and singer.
