HTML Editors
An HTML editor is a program for editing HTML, the markup of a web page. Although the HTML markup in a web page can be controlled with any text editor, specialized HTML editors can offer convenience and added functionality. For example, many HTML editors handle not only HTML, but also related technologies such as CSS, XML and JavaScript or ECMAScript. Many word processing, graphic design and page layout programs that are not dedicated to web design, such as Microsoft Word or Quark XPress, also have the ability to function as HTML editors. Types of editors There are two main varieties of HTML editors: text and WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors. Text editors Text editors intended for use with HTML usually provide at least syntax highlighting. Some editors additionally feature templates, toolbars and keyboard shortcuts to qui ...

Contribute is designed to inter-operate with Adobe Dreamweaver and other Adobe products. It was included in the Web Premium and the Master Collection editions of Adobe Creative ...

This version contained templates and tools for building database-driven websites using FileMaker Pro 4.1 and Claris Dynamic Markup Language ( CDML). Within weeks of the final Home Page release, parent company Apple Computer reorganized Claris into FileMaker Inc., with Home Page and the FileMaker database as its only remaining products. Home Page was discontinued in 2001, though it continued to run in the Classic Environment of Mac OS X through version 10.4. Home Page was designed for HTML 3.2, and consequently does not support HTML 4.0. Home Page cannot display Po ...
