The communauté d'agglomération du Pays Basque ( eu, Euskal Hirigune Elkargoa), is the ''communauté d'agglomération'', an intercommunal structure, centred on the cities of Bayonne and Biarritz. It is located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, southwestern France. It was created in January 2017 by the merger of the former communauté de l'agglomération Côte Basque-Adour, communauté de l'agglomération Sud Pays Basque and eight communautés de communes. Its area is 2968 km2. Its population was 312,278 in 2018, including 51,411 in Bayonne and 25,532 in Biarritz.Comparateur de territoire

Bayonne
Bayonne (; eu, Baiona ; oc, label= Gascon, Baiona ; es, Bayona) is a city in Southwestern France near the Spanish border. It is a commune and one of two subprefectures in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Bayonne is located at the confluence of the Nive and Adour rivers in the northern part of the cultural region of the Basque Country. It is the seat of the Communauté d'agglomération du Pays Basque which roughly encompasses the western half of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, including the coastal city of Biarritz. This area also constitutes the southern part of Gascony, where the Aquitaine Basin joins the beginning of the Pre-Pyrenees. Together with nearby Anglet, Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, as well as several smaller communes, Bayonne forms an urban area with 273,137 inhabitants at the 2018 census; 51,411 residents lived in the commune of Bayonne proper.

Ainhoa, Pyrénées-Atlantiques
Ainhoa (; ) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in southwestern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Ainhoars''. Geography Location The commune of ''Ainhoa'' is in the traditional Basque province of Labourd. Ainhoa is some 20 km due south of Bayonne and is directly on the Spanish border which forms the southern border of the commune. The commune is mountainous and forested in the south-east portion but with farmland in the northwest of the commune. There is one border crossing to Spain on the southern border at the village of Dantxana. ''Ainhoa'' and Sare, together with the two Spanish communes of Zugarramurdi and Urdazubi, form a cross-border territory, called ''Xareta''. Straddling the border with Spain, it is a passage for the Way of St. James (''Baztan way'') from Bayonne to Pamplona. The commune's border with Spain is in the Dancharia area and accesses the area of Dantxarinea d'Urdazubi. ...

Arbonne
Arbonne (; eu, Arbona) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Arbonars''Brigitte Jobbé-Duval, ''Dictionary of place names - Pyrénées-Atlantiques'', 2009, Archives and Culture, Geography Arbonne is located some 6 km south of Biarritz and 3 km east of Bidart. It is part of the Urban area of Bayonne and is located in the former province of Labourd. Access to the commune is by road D255 from Biarritz in the north passing through the village and continuing south to Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle. The D655 branches off the D255 in the south of the commune and goes to Ahetze. The A63 autoroute passes through the northern tip of the commune but has no access from the commune. Amorots-Succos
Amorots-Succos () is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of southwestern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Amoroztar'' in Basque Brigitte Jobbé-Duval, ''Dictionary of placenames - Pyrénées-Atlantiques'', 2009, Archives and Culture, Geography Amorots-Succos is located some 50 km east by south-east of Bayonne and 10 km north-west of Saint-Palais in the former Basque province of Lower Navarre. It can be accessed by the D123 road from Beguios in the east passing west through the village and the commune and continuing to La Bastide-Clairence. The D14 from Meharin to Garris also passes through the southern tip of the commune. The commune is mixed forest and farmland with no other villages or hamlets. Amendeuix-Oneix () is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in southwestern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Amendüztar''. The village can be accessed by the D124 road from Garris in the west passing northeast to the village then continuing north to join the D29. The D11 road also passes through the south of the commune from Garris to Saint-Palais. The small D511 road links the D11 to the D124 within the commune.
