"Coming Around Again" is a song by American singer-songwriter Carly Simon, written for the film ''Heartburn'' (1986) and later from the album of the same name, '' Coming Around Again'' (1987). Carly Elisabeth Simon (born June 25, 1943) is an American singer-songwriter, memoirist, and children's author. She rose to fame in the 1970s with a string of hit records; her 13 Top 40 U.S. hits include "Anticipation" (No. 13), " The Right Thing to Do" (No. 17), " Haven't Got Time for the Pain" (No. 14), " You Belong to Me" (No. 6), " Coming Around Again" (No. 18), and her four Gold-certified singles "You're So Vain" (No. 1), "Mockingbird" (No. 5, a duet with James Taylor), "Nobody Does It Better" (No. 2) from the 1977 James Bond film '' The Spy Who Loved Me'', and "Jesse" (No. 11). ''Anthology'' is a two-disc career retrospective compilation box set by American singer-songwriter Carly Simon, released by Rhino Entertainment, on November 5, 2002. Simon personally selected all the songs for this collection. Over the course of the two discs, every one of her studio albums (up until that point) is chronologically represented with at least one song (not including her just-released Christmas album ''Christmas Is Almost Here'', or her 1993 opera, '' Romulus Hunt: A Family Opera'', on which she only actually performs on one track). The booklet features numerous photographs from Simon's archives, as well as extensive liner notes by Jack Mauro, a lifelong fan of Simon's. Springbok Radio (spelled ''Springbokradio'' in Afrikaans, ) was a South African nationwide radio station that operated from 1950 to 1986. History SABC's decision in December 1945 to develop a commercial service was constrained by post-war financial issues. After almost five years of investigation and after consulting Lord Reith of the BBC and the South African government, it decided to introduce commercial radio to supplement the SABC's public service English and Afrikaans networks and help solve the SABC's financial problems. Kent Music Report
The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts. Before the Kent Report, ''Go-Set'' magazine published weekly Top-40 Singles from 1966, and Album charts from 1970 until the magazine's demise in August 1974. Thompson Twins were a British Pop music, pop band formed in 1977 in Sheffield. Initially a New wave music, new wave group, they switched to a more mainstream pop sound and achieved considerable popularity during the mid-1980s, scoring a string of hits in the United Kingdom, the United States, and around the world. In 1993, they changed their name to Babble (band), Babble, to reflect their change in music from pop to Dub music, dub-influenced Chill-out music, chill-out. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. ''Carly Simon: Live from Martha's Vineyard'' is a 1987 HBO concert special featuring Carly Simon recorded live on the shores of Martha's Vineyard. ''Greatest Hits Live'' is the first live album and second greatest hits album by American singer-songwriter Carly Simon, released by Arista Records, on August 2, 1988. Recorded on 35MM film for a HBO special shot on Martha's Vineyard originally titled ''Carly Simon – Coming Around Again'', it was broadcast in June 1987 and later released on home video as '' Live From Martha's Vineyard''. The album version runs in a different track order than the video version, and three tracks from the video version are removed: " Give Me All Night", "You Have To Hurt", and " The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of". The track " The Right Thing to Do", cut from the final televised cut of the concert, is included on the album. It would later be included on both DVD releases of the concert as a bonus feature.
