Comic Con Experience
CCXP (originally called Comic Con Experience) is a Brazilian multi-genre entertainment and comic convention. It is based on the San Diego Comic-Con and has attractions and contents about comics, TV series, movies, video games, literature and internet. It is the largest pop culture festival in the world. History The first edition was held in December 2014 in São Paulo, organized by the website Omelete, the comics agency Chiaroscuro Studios and toy company Piziitoys. It was visited by an estimated public of 100,000 and had 80 companies involved. Speculative Fiction
Speculative fiction is a term that has been used with a variety of (sometimes contradictory) meanings. The broadest interpretation is as a category of fiction encompassing genres with elements that do not exist in reality, recorded history, nature, or the present universe. Such fiction covers various themes in the context of supernatural, futuristic, and other imaginative realms. The genres under this umbrella category include, but are not limited to, science fiction, fantasy, horror, superhero fiction, alternate history, utopian and dystopian fiction, and supernatural fiction, as well as combinations thereof (for example, science fantasy). Olivier Coipel
Olivier Coipel (; November 7, 1969) is a French comic book artist, known for his work on books such as ''House of M'', ''Legion of Super-Heroes'' and ''Thor''. Career Olivier Coipel started as a movie animator, working as an assistant on ''Balto'' and then ''The Prince of Egypt'', then as a full animator at ''The Road to El Dorado''. Klaus Janson (born January 23, 1952) is a German-born American comics artist, working regularly for Marvel Comics and DC Comics and sporadically for independent companies. While he is best known as an inker, Janson has frequently worked as a penciller and colorist. Early life Klaus Janson was born in Coburg, West Germany, He emigrated to the United States in 1957, settling with his family in Connecticut, where he lived in Bridgeport from 1957 to 1972. Gustavo Duarte
Gustavo Duarte (São Paulo, May 19, 1977) is a Brazilian cartoonist and comics artist. His work is known for his usually silent comics, which rely on the characters' body language. Early life and education In 1999, Duarte graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Unesp in Bauru. Career During his studies, Duarte began working as an illustrator for the newspaper Diário de Bauru from 1997 to 1999. Keno Don Hugo Rosa (), known simply as Don Rosa (born June 29, 1951), is an American comic book writer and illustrator known for his Disney comics stories about Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, and other characters which Carl Barks created for Disney-licensed comic books, first published in America by Dell Comics.
