''Comes and Goes'' is the fourth and final studio album by Canadian hard rock band Default. It was released on September 29, 2009 in Canada and internationally on October 26, 2010. The band has released four singles from the album: "All Over Me", "Little Too Late", "Turn It On", and "Supposed to Be", all released exclusively in Canada. The music video for "All Over Me" was released on September 21, 2009. ''Comes and Goes'' debuted at 137 on the Billboard 200 chart. Content ''Comes and Goes'' was originally going to be released on TVT Records, which went bankrupt in 2008. As a result, the band underwent several court cases before EMI Canada licensed the rights to the album. Label executives made the decision because they felt that Default was more financially viable than other TVT acts. Default (band)
Default is a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1999. Since forming, the band has released four albums, and has sold more than a million records. The majority of their fan base is in Canada, but they had brief mainstream success in the United States with the release of their hit single " Wasting My Time". The group disbanded in 2013 after a hiatus following the release of their fourth album, and lead singer Dallas Smith pursued a country music solo career. In 2018, Default announced that they were back together. The band also announced a tour in support of Stone Temple Pilots and Seether, and a co-headline tour with Ages of Days. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Post-grunge
Post-grunge is a derivative of grunge that has a less abrasive or intense tone than traditional grunge. Originally, the term was used almost pejoratively to label mid-1990s rock bands such as Bush, Candlebox and Collective Soul that emulated the original sound of grunge. In the late 1990s, post-grunge morphed into a more clearly defined style that married the sound and aesthetic of grunge with a less intense and abrasive tone, rising to prominence that lasted in the 2000s. Robert Roy Marlette (born December 7, 1955) is an American record producer, recording engineer, mixer, and songwriter. His production, writing and mixing credits include David Lee Roth, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Sebastian Bach, Rob Halford, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Seether, Atreyu, and Ill Niño. ''One Thing Remains'' is the third studio album by Canadian hard rock band Default. It was released on October 11, 2005. The album features a more straightforward hard rock sound than the band's previous work, downplaying their characteristic alternative metal elements. "The Memory Will Never Die" was used as one of the theme songs of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) event WrestleMania 23 and WWE's Tribute to the Troops.
