Combat High
''Combat Academy'' (also known as ''Combat High'') is a 1986 American made-for-television comedy film directed by Neal Israel. The film also features (a then-unknown) George Clooney. Synopsis Best friends Max Mendelsson (Keith Gordon) and Perry Barnett (Wally Ward) are a pair of misfit high school teenagers who always cause trouble at school. After starting the first day with a large amount of destructive pranks, the duo are suspended from school. They later get themselves into more trouble when they intentionally misdirect several construction workers into drilling on the wrong area, ultimately causing roadside damage and getting themselves arrested by the police. Neal Israel (born July 27, 1945) is an American actor, screenwriter, film and television producer, and director best known for his comedic work in the 1980s for films such as ''Police Academy'', ''Real Genius'', and ''Bachelor Party''. Biography Career Raised in Manhattan in a Jewish family, Israel started his career on the Broadway stage as assistant to legendary director George Abbott. Boonville is a city and the county seat of Cooper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 7,964 at the 2020 census.
